The series was origionally relesed back in 2000.. POTD was under the title Ayuamarca.. Then book 2 was relesed as Hells horizon (2001, and only in the UK, were Ayuamarca was outside the UK as well as in the UK). Book 3 sadly never met publication..

But now the series is in reprint.. Ayuamarca under the title of POTD, Hells horizon may be under the same title and presumalbly the preivoiusly un-relesed City of snakes keeps it's title..

Yeah, I've got Ayuamarca and Hell's Horizons. I read them back years ago, and am just in the process of re-reading hells horizon. Prefer Ayuamarca personally, but I think it's because I prefer the protagonist in it.

:.realises she doesn't know where her signed Ayuamarca copy is and panics.:

Ahh

I thought Ayuamarca was beter aswell
But that was just because I think it explained more about the City and of the things that happen in it
HH was based more on the one thing, though yes i do know that ayuamrca was based on Capac but it showed you much more.

I'd rather wait until this March for the book. Only 3 months away. I predict that after The City Trilogy is finally over and done with, we're going to read a lot of new DB Shan books. Depends on if they're actual novels or a series of books. If they're just normal stand-alone novels they'll come out with 2 books a year like Stephen King and Dean Koontz.

Well, I know he's going to publish a brand new major series after the fantasy book. I think when The City Trilogy is over he's going to be both DB Shan and Darren Shan. Which is cool because we'll get more Shan books. Cheesy Imagine 4 books a year by Darren.... That would be like heaven. We don't have to wait every June and October anymore.
