Yeah i write
jus got over 30,000 words so happy

but my advice is commit yourself to 30 minutes a day

dont be scared to take crittisim

know that your story may develop and change(personally my idea came to me 4 years ago and its changed A LOT)

and finally be ready to do a second draft-after reading it

good luck and good writing

My books eneded up being narrorated by a secondary character after I wrote them, now I'm changing them to the new narrorators point of veiw. It just worked out better..

I write, i just finally managed  to finnisgh my first book for a trilogy, and now i have the grudging duty of marking it for errors.
but i love to write, i handed the first chapter of my book in for some coursework and got an A* which spurred me on
keep on writing

I have an editor for that kind of stuff - Where would I be without him?  Probably still picking out mistakes...

I'd love to start writing. Tbh having just had exams I've not had the time. I rarely get good ideas and if I do they're based on an existing novel and I lack the patience to write a full novel. Having just started summer I am going to attempt to start writing and am using some of Darren's tips from his blogs as guidance due to his influence over my writing (I still nick the phrase 'Darkness. Silence.' from Demon Thief in almost everything I write as the use of short sentances rally helps create atmosphere).

Does anyone have any tips that could help me out with this as it's something I constantly promise myself I'll persue.
