Do your parents know that you read a story with sexual content in it?? lol. I don't mean to be mean. I'm just wondering. I read Laurell K. Hamilton when I was 16. I stopped after the 4th book though because it was getting kinda weird. I'm a guy, so... yeah.

P.S.: Feels good to be back on my 7439 account again. Smiley I will read the rules. I know they're somewhere. Since this is an adult messageboard, we're allowed to curse now, right? I'll read the rules later.

Yeah. lol. Same with me. My parents used to freak out, but then they stopped telling me what to do when they realized I wouldn't listen. They don't care anymore. lol. Why should they? I'm 18.

Try having your mum walk in as you're reading the sex sceene in the stariwell to your littel sister..

She was like "I'm leaving"
And my line was "That's probably best.."

7439,
I'm 19, and have been reading Shan since I was 11.
I got into Laurell K. Hamilton when I was around 16, I think - I've read almost all of the Anita Blake novels, and a few of the Merry Gentry ones.
There's a lot of sexual content, but at the same time, it adds to the character tension.
